Bracelet created by: Newburyport Choral Society

The Newburyport Choral Society (NCS) is an educational, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to excellence in performance and to bringing outstanding choral music to the North Shore of Boston. As one of the oldest choral groups in the United States, NCS has brought choral masterpieces to local audiences for more than 80 years. Formally established in the spring of 1934, NCS continues a choral tradition dating back to the first Newburyport chorus formed in 1848.
Leonard Bernstein wrote: “This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before.” The mission of NCS, through our “We Sing” programs, is to attract people from nearly forty communities in eastern Massachusetts and southeastern New Hampshire, in ages that range from children to retirees. Everyone brings diverse social and musical backgrounds to the choral experience. We believe that music is MORE than the right notes and the right rhythms at the right time – that it is the soul and heart of each individual. We believe in a world filled with beauty, and by wearing this Konectidy bracelet we want you to partner with us in a vision of mutual respect, understanding and universal peace.
